The new Airflo Forge Fly Line is the perfect all-round fly line that has been enhanced with the latest material technology to maximise distance and deliver accurate casting control and is a highly versatile line.
The Forge fly line features a total head length of 40ft and a working head length of between 33ft to 42ft and performs on a level that will suit all kinds of casting capabilities. The relatively long front taper, including the tip, provides a smooth turnover and accurate delivery, perfect for when you need a delicate top of the water presentation.
The core is built from the braided multi filament and if you have previous experience with lines with a stretch, this line will have a similar feel to the lines you may have used previously. The line is 100% PVC free and the base material is made from solvent-free Polyurethane for enhanced strength, and DEET resistance and to ultimately fight off the long-term effects of UV damage.
The coating on the Forge line makes it ultra-smooth and it also includes a dry lubrication system that improves casting performance and aids water repulsion. This will help enhance flotation properties and give the line smoother lift-offs.
There are two colours provided on the line, and olive head colour that will help reduce any line flash in the air and a sunrise yellow running line. The yellow colour will help with visibility so you can easily see the transition at the rear taper and help you gauge the optimal amount of line when casting for distance.
