Its specialised tapers, combined with Hardy's groundbreaking Sintrix FLT construction, offer supreme lightness and stability across extended lengths, ensuring you maintain absolute authority over your drift and your catch.

• Dual-Tip System: Seamlessly switch between a tubular carbon tip for heavier rigs and a solid nano-carbon tip for ultimate sensitivity with light flies and fine leaders. (Excluding 9ft 9in / 3wt Dry Fly Model)
• Extended Lengths: Achieve superior reach and drift control with rods designed for optimal performance in modern nymphing styles.
• Sintrix FLT Construction: Enjoy extreme lightness and unwavering strength, engineered for precision and durability.
• Down-locking Reel Seat: Enhances balance for long-rod applications, reducing fatigue during extended fishing sessions.
• Low Stripping Guide: Minimises line sag for direct contact and improved bite detection.
• Unground Blank Surface: Prevents monofilament leaders from sticking, ensuring smooth presentations.
• Soft Tips: Provide maximum shock absorption, safeguarding even the finest tippets from demanding runs.

This is the premium nymphing fly rod serious anglers have been waiting for. While other rods might offer a single approach, the Tactus excels by giving you two specialised tips within one powerful blank, letting you adapt to any situation on the water. Expect a level of sensitivity and control that directly translates to more fish landed, especially when you need to protect light tippets on big Australian trout. If you're committed to perfecting your nymphing, the Hardy Tactus Fly Rod is the ultimate tool for your arsenal.
