An upper-tier handheld thermal monocular that upgrades both the lens and sensor from the entry models, providing a wider digital zoom range and massive detection range, complete with a built-in laser rangefinder.
The Hikmicro Condor CQ35L steps up to a high-resolution 640 × 512 sensor (a massive jump up from the 384 × 288 in the CH25L), which means it captures significantly more thermal detail and provides a much wider field of view. Combined with a 35mm F1.0 lens, this unit is capable of detecting heat signatures up to 1800 metres away. It also houses an integrated 1000m laser rangefinder, making it an outstanding all-rounder for scanning open paddocks as well as moving through thick scrub.
Key Technical Features
-
High-Resolution 640 × 512 Sensor: Delivers rich thermal details and much smoother images, even when cranking up the digital zoom.
-
Integrated 1000m Laser Rangefinder: Accurately calculates target distance up to 1000 metres with a tolerance of ±1 metre.
-
Extreme Thermal Sensitivity: Operates at < 20 mK (with the 2.0 version sitting at < 15 mK) to detect tiny temperature differences in harsh, humid, or foggy conditions.
-
Image Pro & Zoom Pro Algorithms: Optimises digital rendering to ensure animals and backgrounds remain distinct and clear at higher magnification levels.
-
Magnesium Alloy Housing: Offers a robust and durable build while keeping the weight down to about 400 grams (excluding the battery).

Best For
-
Open Country & Mixed Terrain: The combination of a wider 640px sensor and a 35mm lens makes it perfect for scanning massive open fields while still being usable in tighter scrub.
-
Long-Distance Identification: The upgraded sensor and lens provide a much clearer image at 1000m+ compared to the 25mm models.
-
All-In-One Spotting: Like others in the Condor line, it eliminates the need to carry a separate handheld rangefinder.
